This was a delightful sequel. I don't know what it is about this kind of humor that resonates with me, but it's absolutely absurd and I love it. The animation and artwork has definitely improved since the last Sonic animation you worked on. The bashing on Sonic Boom at the end was great too. Overall, this is a worthy successor and definitely hilarious.

My only gripe is that the original plot ended too quickly, so the last three minutes focused on the Sonic Boom segment. But hey, nothing's perfect. Great work, I enjoyed it and had plenty of laughs.

Glad you seen the quality difference. I guess it did end it a bit abrupt Just couldn't figure out how Chris would of out done Sonic to get him under water. Maybe he threw in a ring in or a chillidog who knows. Glad you had some laughs. That is what really counts, right?

I must say, I'm a bit embarrassed reviewing this piece since my last review on one of your submissions was unnecessarily harsh. Not to mention, everything I critiqued on in your expressions animation can clearly be seen here. Clean, crisp and smooth animation, funnier content and it's long content too! And from what I read in the reviews, this is an experiment, like the other one. Your experiments show a lot about your craft.

I enjoyed the transition from a sweet, young woman to a deep, hungry man ordering the food. The expressions are great and the lip syncing is good too. You've definitely got a great talent for this, and I'm looking forward what you have to offer when you release a final product!

JaceC responds:

Oh no no don't be! Your criticism is relevant! I do need to work on longer and elaborate plots!

It is reviews like these that make all the work worthwhile!

I really appreciate all of this, you just made my day.

Thank you. Very much. And have a nice day!

Excellent in every shape way and form. The animation wasn't the best, but given the content and the style of humor, it was a fitting match and helped the humor come across even more so.

This was totally nonsensical in so many ways, and that's why I love it. The homo-erotic sub plots, the disgusting humor, the random and pointless overlapping story. Everything made me laugh. And let me say, I was questioning the validity of this being on the front page. After having witnessed this finally, I can put those thoughts to rest. 5/5. Please do another one, PLEASE.

kalabor106 responds:

Thanks so much. I'll agree my animation is some what sluggish. Glad you could accept it and enjoy the oddity of this.

This is a nice animation, and the voice acting isn't bad. The character art is great too and I chuckled. The biggest problem though is it's WAAAAAAAY too short. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks more like an experimental animation than an actual final product. This is something I'd see on Youtube in a demo reel, as opposed to Newgrounds.

I'm sorry if I come off as harsh, but with this kind of skill and talent, I can definitely see better, longer and funnier content coming from you. You have the capabilities to make something great if you keep up this quality route. Still, good job with the expressions, you did a great job with that.

JaceC responds:

Well. You are right there. It is an experiment.

There is one coming, slightly longer. Maybe by a few seconds. Ha.

I won't lie though, I am disappointed with the outcome.

It's a funny little story about the lives of internal organs but coincidentally, it also serves as a cautionary tale about the harm we may put our bodies through and all the abuse they take with the bad decisions we make. But I digress.

The story was great. It really had me hooked in from the moment I saw the organs with faces, and it definitely kept me in suspense all through the end. The animation was great and very bouncy and stretchy, all while the designs of the characters (errr, organs) were very cool. The sound effects and how everything acted on the rhythm of the song were really satisfying. It was a clean, exciting and unique animation that (to my knowledge) hasn't really been done before. Excellent work, 5/5.

Splapp-me-do responds:

Thank you very much! Glad you liked it

The animation's pretty good and the characters are trippy and cool. Gotta say, I love the whole warped and twisted setting, it's bizarre but I love it. That melting sun was sweet too.

I laughed a couple of times, the idea of Huff n Puff (god, I can't get it out of my head now) is a pretty funny one. The voice yelling out HUFF N PUFF got a bit boring and annoying too after a while but I still can't help but chuckle at it. Overall, good work!

Affinitia responds:

Thank you very much for your thoughtful review and helpful input. I really want to make an entire animation that looks like the hallucinogenic scene x100. Maybe someday. :D Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to go huff some cake out of a bag.

I was delightfully surprised when I found out this was animated by the same guy that did Ratticus. This was a nice cartoon to watch and the animation was really fluent. Did you do any rotoscoping? I feel like a lot of the movements were drawn over actor's movements, from the subtle head turns to the creature standing upright and walking. The setting and colors were a nice choice. It felt grim, a little depressing, but didn't bring down the mood of the whole thing, since the humor complimented it.

The only criticism that I would point out is the voice acting. It's isn't bad, but it's not the greatest; still your voice actors did do well enough to make the characters and their dialogue believable.

I'm going to end this review before it gets too long so I give you four stars. I can't wait to see more!

SethBrady responds:

Fuck no, I never do rotoscoping, and I never will. Actually no, I would do rotoscoping if I were animating a car, truck, tank etc. by filming a model moving around, but NEVER a character. It's the worst, most unnatural, biggest CHEAT in the industry, and fuck Ralph Bakshi for falling into it. He used to make such great films before Lord of the Rings and such.

Honestly, you have a gem here for a series, and it could not have come to you at a better time than now, when Mega Man is more or less dead (he's not dead, but he certainly isn't around much anymore).

The animation was great, the dialogue was inventive, clever and, being a personal admirer of cheesy puns myself, I thought it was hysterical. The gags only enhanced the humor, especially having Cut Man trying to start a lawn mower to cut the grass. Oh the irony.

The character Larry was great. His movements, actions and absolute horrid personality combined with a penchant for puns made him stand out for me. I was still expecting him to say "I'll CUT you a break" at some point in the cartoon, but I was getting ahead of myself. Overall, great work! I hope to see more of this in the future!

Esquirebob responds:

Now tha's what I call a review! Thanks a bunch, and I'm glad you liked it so much! :)

My hobbies include, gaming, reading, movies, filmmaking and animation, with a particular taste for dark humor and absurdist comedy. I'm always working on new projects to upload and share, if only I can get off my lazy ass and finish them. Stay tuned.
