This was a delightful sequel. I don't know what it is about this kind of humor that resonates with me, but it's absolutely absurd and I love it. The animation and artwork has definitely improved since the last Sonic animation you worked on. The bashing on Sonic Boom at the end was great too. Overall, this is a worthy successor and definitely hilarious.

My only gripe is that the original plot ended too quickly, so the last three minutes focused on the Sonic Boom segment. But hey, nothing's perfect. Great work, I enjoyed it and had plenty of laughs.

Glad you seen the quality difference. I guess it did end it a bit abrupt Just couldn't figure out how Chris would of out done Sonic to get him under water. Maybe he threw in a ring in or a chillidog who knows. Glad you had some laughs. That is what really counts, right?

I like the idea, the delivery of the majority of the lines and it definitely gives off the Seinfeld vibe. The animation is good, and the modelling and texture work is great.

I would have liked to see more shots from different angles. An example of this was the repetition of the shots of Mario and Luigi talking to each other. It shot back and forth which seemed a bit dull. I know this isn't an action genre kind of animation, but maybe a tracking shot where the camera follows a character walking somewhere, while talking or doing something, It just seemed very static to me. The dialogue between Mario and Luigi, while funny, lacked something. Luigi's voice actor did a good job, but there were times I could hear a lack of enthusiasm.

Overall, this is great work, and fresh too. I really enjoy your unique spins on different video game franchises. Keep up the good work.

The voice acting could be a bit better and the artwork could be cleaner, but overall this was a good piece. It was funny and the animation itself was good too. I really liked the lip sync you did; you had their lower jaws moving when they spoke. Little things like that give an animation some much needed life and some realism.

Now this is really nitpicking, but when your character with the JP shirt turns around, the letters on his shirt are mirrored and they appear backwards. You may want to work on consistency by making a new symbol to replace that character's body so this doesn't happen in future animations. Other than that, I think you did a good job!

It's a challenging game and overall fun. Someone playing it could get into it and not stop until they're reached a certain point that they can't solve. The only thing I don't understand are the time and moves. If you're playing against other people and you're competing for a faster time, then it makes sense. But playing solo, there is no consequence, at least none that I have found. Overall, good game and good work. 4/5.

This is a really pretty game. The art style is really nice, the presentation is great, the music is nice and the game play is addicting. The story is kind of funny and adds more depth to the game, as it should.

My only gripe is the short time spans of the towers. I'm not sure if they have a time limit or if the knights coming in by the waves are damaging them and making them fall. I guess it takes some trial and error to figure out but I like the game a lot. Definitely an instant favorite. Good work!

Your music is so whimsical...so epic and a joy to listen to. I'm saddened some this track was not used in the final cartoon because there are a lot of segments here that would have gotten me hooked in an instant. Your music in that cartoon just captivated me, along with the animations and the beautiful painterly backgrounds. It was a masterful production.

This is straying away from the review, but I figured I'd ask you since you are the artist: what kind of genre or style would you classify your works for the Rayman cartoon and this track? I was assuming it had something of a Celtic style, but I think I'm wrong. Anyways, great work! I can't wait to hear more!

Bosa responds:

There are different styles for different segments, but the main theme I had in mind for the entire project was a classic cartoon style. I didn't do much research, but I based most of my instrumentation on cartoon music that I used to hear when I was a kid. Almost like Looney Toons to some extent.

I geeve you four stars.

Seriously though, it's a good loop, wish it were a little longer. You definitely achieved the distortion that gives it its namesake.

But it's creepy, almost like a final boss fight that's really disturbing. Which makes it perfect. Well done, bro.

Beautiful composition; it's very dynamic. The color choice is bright, imaginative and it also achieves a sense of realism. Your lighting is also extremely well done, especially the way it bounces off and shines off the dragon's scales. I look forward to seeing that video you're going to upload on your channel on the process of this piece. I'd love to learn how you did this and what techniques and tricks you have. Great work!

Freyaloi responds:

Thank you so much for your comment. :) I love long comments like yours that go into detail about things. It makes me all warm inside. XD

Amazing detail and awesome design. Well done!

WHAT'S THIS? A LACK OF DR. BEE RELATED REFERENCES IN THE REVIEWS SECTION? MY BRIEFCASE FULL OF BEES OUGHTA PUT A STOP TO-oh. There's only five stars in here.

Damn. Well, here, have five stars then. (P.S, excellent job with the colors, shading and style. I believe this was extremely worthy of the front page!)

deathink responds:

What's this? A handsome review woefully underpopulated by bees? A large influx of bees will put a stop to that. Thanks for the 5/Bees!

My hobbies include, gaming, reading, movies, filmmaking and animation, with a particular taste for dark humor and absurdist comedy. I'm always working on new projects to upload and share, if only I can get off my lazy ass and finish them. Stay tuned.
